Machine translation post-editing (MTPE)
Post-editing of Arabic machine translation and AI-generated text to the quality your audience expects: faster turnaround on large volumes, without the errors raw engine output leaves behind.
Neural machine translation engines and large language models can speed up big projects, but their Arabic often contains mistranslations, gender and agreement errors, inconsistent terminology and unnatural phrasing. Post-editing by a native linguist turns that output into text you can rely on.
Light post-editing makes content accurate and understandable for internal use and high-volume reference material; full post-editing brings it to the standard of human translation for anything customers will read. Both follow your guidelines and terminology, and recurring engine errors are reported so they can be fixed at the source.

Who it’s for
Teams that already run content through machine translation engines or large language models and need the Arabic checked and corrected by a professional before it is used, published or fed back into training.
How it works
I review a sample to judge the raw output, agree on light or full post-editing against your guidelines, then correct meaning, terminology, grammar and flow segment by segment in your CAT tool or platform. Recurring engine errors are logged so they can be fixed at the source.
What you receive
Post-edited files in the format you need, consistent terminology across batches, and an optional report on engine quality. Light post-editing suits internal content; full post-editing is for anything your customers will read.

Frequently asked questions
Will post-edited Arabic read like a human translation?
Yes. With full post-editing, I rework the machine output until it reads naturally, as if it had been written by a professional Arabic translator. Meaning, terminology, grammar, style and flow are all corrected, so readers can’t tell a machine was involved.
Is machine translation post-editing (MTPE) cheaper than human translation?
Usually, yes. Because a machine translation engine produces the first draft, post-editing generally takes less time and costs less than translating from scratch. The saving depends on the quality of the raw output, the subject and the level of editing: light post-editing saves the most, full post-editing to publication quality saves less. For Arabic, where engines still make grammar and terminology errors, a native post-editor is essential either way.
What is the difference between light and full post-editing?
Light post-editing corrects only what is needed to make machine-translated text accurate and understandable; the style may remain mechanical. It suits internal documents and large volumes of reference content. Full post-editing brings the text up to the quality of human translation, with correct terminology, natural style and consistent formatting, and is the right choice for anything customers, partners or the public will read. I offer both for Arabic content.
